One of the most important values at TriMech Design Solutions as a Toronto product design firm is to encourage, support, and take part in as many initiatives as possible that help others in their quest for product design, product development, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Since MAKO began as a small business being driven by our CEO, Kevin Mako, who had the vision at a young age to establish TriMech Design Solutions as one of the first Toronto product design firms catering to the needs of home inventors and small businesses, we make sure to give back as much as possible!

As we explore the newer venues of design, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Toronto, we try to sponsor as many establishments as possible, including academic institutions!

About Queen’s Entrepreneurs’ Competition

Queen’s University is a university based in Kingston, Ontario. Its impressive business program has educated some of the brightest and most talented business students in Canada. Queen’s University hosts a variety of different programs, events and opportunities for its students and one of them is the Queen’s Entrepreneurs’ Competition, which helps encourage and give entrepreneurial experience to its business students.

Each year, the QEC team receives hundreds of business plan submissions from around the globe and chooses 15 teams to be invited to Toronto to pitch their business plans to a panel of Canadian business leaders. Our CEO, Kevin Mako, was invited to be on the panel as a leader of one of the top Toronto Product Design Firms. The final weekend of QEC is a vibrant exchange of ideas and innovation! It’s a great opportunity to make new professional and personal connections.

Kevin Mako on Running a Top Toronto Product Design Firm

Our CEO, Kevin Mako, is very passionate about being able to connect, meet, and share his passion for entrepreneurship and design. For this reason, Kevin has spent a good amount of his career taking part in different public speaking opportunities to talk to others about his experience and expertise in running a top Toronto product design firm.

Explaining what makes a successful business, product, and design are all areas in which Kevin has gained extensive knowledge and extensive firsthand experience in order to help inform and educate others who are equally as interested in these fields.
